Nelson Mandela once said, 'It always seems impossible until it's done.'
While creating the bust of Mandela, I had the opportunity to delve deeply into his life, examining numerous videos and photographs. I was profoundly inspired by him—a truly remarkable leader who dedicated his life to the peace, harmony, and unity of South Africa. This bust, envisioned while reflecting on his legacy, is my humble tribute to Africa, and I had the honor of donating it to the Mandela Foundation Museum in a ceremony attended by the Turkish Ambassador. The sculpture is made from clay and, after being fired in a kiln, was coated with a special patina.
